When will we receive our photos, and what’s included?
Yes! Family photos are encouraged and usually done early in the session, especially with siblings, before attention spans fade. I love including pets in a natural, lifestyle way, never forced. Safety is always the priority, and we move at a pace that feels comfortable for everyone.
Do you include parents, siblings, or pets?
Sessions are slow, relaxed, and completely baby-led. We allow time for feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and snuggles. If baby is fussy, we pause and focus on natural moments with parents until they’re settled again. This is why sessions are unhurried, baby always runs the show.
What happens during an in-home newborn session?
Babies don’t follow schedules, and that’s expected. I build flexibility into my calendar to accommodate early or late arrivals, NICU stays, or unexpected recovery needs. There’s no pressure, your baby’s health and your comfort always come first.
What if my baby arrives early, late, or needs extra care?
Newborn sessions are typically done within the first 5–14 days, when babies are sleepier and more settled. That said, this window is flexible. Every baby and birth story is different, and beautiful images can be captured whenever your family is ready.
When is the best time to photograph my newborn?
Most families reserve their newborn session during the second or early third trimester. Booking early allows for availability and gives you one less thing to think about as your due date approaches. Once baby arrives, we’ll finalize the session timing together.
